MADEIRA
DISCOVER A NEW GENERATION
OF MADEIRA WINE
The new 10 year old wines (Sercial, Verdelho, Bual and Malmsey) Blandy’s Madeira were elaborated using centuries-old techniques, combined with a detailed knowledge on how each grape variety evolves in the 12 aging rooms in two very distinctive locations – Blandy’s Wine Lodge in Funchal, and the winery in Caniçal. This allowed us to age our wines in very particular areas to make the most out of the conditions best suited for each grape variety.

OUR STORY
TRADITION THAT
REINVENTS ITSELF
The Blandy family is distinguished by being the only family, of all the original founders of the Madeira Wine trade, that still owns and manages its own original wine company. Throughout its long history on the island, the family has played a leading role in the development of Madeira wine. Its members continue to live in Madeira, thus maintaining a tradition that dates back to 1811 – two centuries of producing excellent wine.
